Speed Retriever Contest

The Missouri Waterfowl Festival and Sports Show will have a contest anyone with a dog can enter.  A land course of about 100 yards will be set-up with a few obstacles, and the dogs will be timed for the fastest dog to go get the dummy and return to the start.

Win a $1000 bucks for a Single Retrieve!

There will be three (3) Divisions, Kids, Adults, and Open, and prizes for all winners.

Age 15 and under can run a dog in the “Kids Division” as many times as they want, free!  A trophy will be awarded for First, Second, and Third Place, for the three fastest dogs.

Age 16 and older can run a dog in the “Adult Division” as many times as they want, for $5.00 per run, or 5 runs may be purchased at one time for $20.00.  A cash prize of $300.00 will be awarded for the fastest dog in the Adult Division.  Second Fastest Dog will win $100, and Third Fastest Dog will win $50.00.

Hunt Test/Field Trial Competitors will be limited to the “Open Division”.  Anyone over age 16 may enter this division, but in the interest of fairness, persons who have entered Hunt Tests and other Field Trial Competitions should not enter the “Adult” Division, but should restrict their entry to the Open Division.  Persons entering the Open Division may run a dog as many times as they want, for $10.00 per run.  A cash prize of $1000.00 will be awarded to the fastest dog in the Open Division.  Second Fastest Dog will win $300.00, and the Third Fastest Dog will win $200.00.
